Fest You Should Know: Green River Festival – Revisited

Green River Festival kicks off this Friday afternoon and while it was a shame we had to miss out last year, we are super stoked to be again returning to beautiful Greenfield, MA for the festival. Acts we are particularly excited for are:

Friday: of course roots royalty Lucinda Williams, old friends Parsonsfield and Upstate…get your dancing shoes on.

Saturday: Tyler Childers makes one Northeast appearance this summer…this is worth the price of admission alone. Session Americana, Ali McGuirk are ALWAYS a pleasure to see and The Woods Brothers put on one hell of a show. Also, Low Cut Connie blew up last year and seeing them on another festival stage will be a real treat.

Sunday: You get another royal of the roots music genre, Rhiannon Giddons, Fantastic Negrito and one of our favs, those sweethearts from NC, Mipso. A great close to a great weekend.

Like I said, sadly we missed out last year on GRF so to get ready for 2019 I decided to jump back into some images from the 2017 weekend and go for a more detail oriented look at sets rather than straight stage shots of bands or performers. See if you can guess who’s shoes or guitars those are and hopefully we will see you this weekend.
