Show You Should Know: Lula Wiles at Feast & Field (Barnard, VT 10/4)

The leaves are changing. The hills look aflame with the turning over of the seasons and the time of clinging to being able to be comfortably outdoors, albeit in a sweater and a heavier hat, are upon us.

What better time to take in locally sourced food and fun at Feast & Field? I think there isn’t a better time than this coming Thursday as our old friends and power house trio Lula Wiles comes up Vermont ways to perform for the community market crowd. The trio has been recently signed to Smithsonian Folkways and NPR just described their appearance at Nashville’s Americanafest as having ‘such a clarity of perspective and tone of voice and such biting wit.’

The coupling of this band with the wonderful Feast & Field tradition is sure to be a heck of an evening of song, stories, and well the always wonderful market. With the Fable Farm Fermentory and farm fresh tacos, your bellies will be full, your mood with be jovial and the soundtrack will be brilliant.

So get on out Vermont folks! The market starts at 4:30 and the music kicks off an hour later.
