Album Highlight Friday: Forgotten Souls of Antiquity “Desolation Ridge”

The name of the band at the very least had me extremely intrigued. A bit of grit, a bit of old blues, even hints of punk in the first track  ‘Norfolk Line’. The musicianship is spot on. With acoustic driven tunes, some dobro accents, and rock n’ roll at its heart. Bordering red dirt road blues and peeling paint southern church choir at times, there is a whole lot of soul tucked into these 11 songs. Check it out for yourself.
