Help My Friend, Jess Tardy with Her Recovery Fund

In a world where I have nearly 1,200 ‘friends’ on social media, yet can probably count on both my hands who I would turn to if I needed a place to stay should my house burn to the ground, or ask for help in a dire situation, it can seem funny to overuse a term like “my friend”.

That being said, a friend to me is someone who despite how well or how long you have known them they make you feel at ease. They put you before themselves regardless of the circumstance. They are generous where they can be and supportive always.

In the short time I have known Jess Tardy, she has been an exemplary model of someone that is a true friend. Generous beyond any obligation, kind, and more supportive than pretty much anyone I have ever met without even thinking twice about it. Jess Tardy is the type of person you want in your corner and the type of person who’s corner you should be in.

For those of you who don’t know, back in August Jess was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then her strength and openness about the entire situation has been absolutely astonishing to me. I would honestly be hard pressed to name any person I have ever come across that is as strong and has a more enduring spirit than her. With that diagnosis comes hefty medical bills. As a writer, an artist, a songwriter, those can pile up…so a recovery fund has been set up for Jess to give her the little extra help that she has so often given to others.

Link is below, every little bit helps. Lets help get this incredible spirit and support system for this music community back up and singing her songs soon!
