Vinegrass Announces Inaugural Festival Line-Up at Truro Vineyards 10/4/14

Vinegrass, a not-for-profit, is pleased to announce the line-up and details for their inaugural
Bluegrass/Americana Roots festival to be held October 4th, 2014 at the Truro Vineyards to raise
money for the Paul Baisley Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a Cape Cod student pursuing a
degree in Music in Spring of 2015

BANDS
The Festival will feature 6 bands, including two local bands, Crabgrass and Sarah Swain &
The Oh Boys! The bill will also welcome back Mandolin Orange from North Carolina, The
Modern Grass from Nova Scotia, The Howlin’ Brothers from Nashville, and headliner Yarn
from North Carolina.
This eclectic mix of Roots bands will showcase everything from Traditional Bluegrass to
Progressive Bluegrass to Rock-a-Billy to Americana.

FESTIVAL
The gates to the Truro Vineyards, located at 11 Shore Road in North Truro, MA will open at
11:00am on Saturday October 4th, with the music beginning at 12:00pm and ending at 6:00pm.!
Food will be provided by The Crush Pad food track by Blackfish Restaurant and wine, rum, and
soft drinks will be available for purchase. There will be several unique craft vendors who were
hand chosen to fit the Americana experience and ice cream will be provided by The Local
Scoop. This is a family-friendly event as our goal is to introduce Roots music to the children of
Cape Cod.

Individual tickets are $32 and Family passes (2 adults, up to 3 children) are $70 and can be

Brian Carroll is the founder of Red Line Roots. He is a Massachusetts native that got his start as a musician in the very community he now supports.
