Woodstock Night @ Johnny D’s presented by For the Sake of the Song

Dual Anniversaries! Celebrating 45 Years of Music at Johnny D’s, Woodstock 

August 15th, Doors at 6pm (screening Woodstock footage), live music at 8pm, FREE

This August 15th help Somerville’s iconic music venue Johnny D’s celebrate 45 years! By fate, the date also marks the 45th anniversary of 1969 musical icon, the Woodstock Festival of Music & Art, and  to mark the occasion we’ve taken it upon ourselves to throw one rockin’ party!

Join us as we celebrate with a special night of FREE music featuring performers from New England’s rock, blues, Americana communities playing some of the festival’s most notable performances from Jimi Hendrix, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival and many more! The evening will also featuring an early screening of Woodstock footage (beginning at 6pm) before music starts at 8pm.

This event is in collaboration with music series, For the Sake of the Song and sponsored Narragansett.  This is a free event but donations will be taken at the door for Somerville Arts Council in support of our creative artistic community to continue in 45 more years of live music in Somerville!
