Billsville House Concerts at The Coffee Bar (Bennington, VT)

Living in a place like Vermont, we are lucky to have ‘pockets’ that have a soil rich with creativity and people wanting to capture the essence of it. The Shire Towns of Southwestern VT is an area ripe with riches in that realm. My favorite summer music festival. A beautiful backdrop with multiple ski mountains within a stones throw of one another. And an ol’ friend’s incredibly special home concert series.

A few weeks back, Doug Hacker (aforementioned ol’ friend) announced a new partnership for his home concert series, Billsville House Concerts.

From their newsletter: We’ve been missing live music so much. Given COVID issues and the size of our house, we have held off on hosting any indoor shows again this winter. A few weeks ago, we were given the opportunity to book some shows at The Coffee Bar, a new venue in the Putnam Block in Bennington. More space, great sound and a desire to make things happen and boom, we’re ready to go! We have a great launch weekend with two shows on Feb 25th and 26th with Ali McGuirk and Dylan LeBlanc and then Bella White returns on March 5th.

We hope you’ll join us as we strive to create a similar vibe to our “local” Billsville shows. Listening room, stellar artists and The Coffee Bar will have beer/wine and, we’re guessing, caffeine!

All shows will be Vax+Booster or Negative Test required. We’re confident that our caring crowd understands and supports everyone’s safety otherwise we wouldn’t be hosting these shows.

We also see some other wonderfully generous, kind and talented folks attached the new venue and by the looks of it on social media, its going to be a beautiful and special room to catch a show.
