Green River Festival 2021 Announces Initial Lineup…

“The Green River Festival is pleased to announce that 2021’s festival will include Jon BatisteAni DiFrancoDrive-By TruckersShakey GravesValerie June, and Mandolin Orange. More bands will be announced in the coming weeks. Earlier, the festival announced a new site location at The Franklin County Fairgrounds and new dates- August 27, 28, and 29, in order to provide an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the festival’s patrons, artists, vendors, and staff.”

It’s still a bit unpredictably chilly here in the hills of central Vermont. Two weeks ago my wife and I were outside on a picnic blanket in the year, basking in the mid-afternoon sun and today we woke to hail and freezing rain. But, all that said, the horizon looks a lot brighter and sunnier. As temps warm up and outdoor shows become more of a reality, festivals are adapting to the current and ongoing statutes in various states and planning to move full steam ahead with late Summer and early Fall live music plans and Green River Fest is way out front with the release of the first round of artists for their late August fest.

You can check out more as it is unearthed over at https://www.greenriverfestival.com/ but this first showing is one heck of a start out of the gate. A quick glance gets us mighty excited with friends Mandolin Orange, Charlie Parr, Ghost of Paul Rever, Twisted Pine and Rachel Baiman jumping off the page. Couple that with some heavy hitters (both on the national and local scene), one of our favorite finds of 2020 in Bella White and so much more…its almost too much to think about as the rain and ice patter on the metal roof above my head.

Check out this session we shot with (the then line up of) Twisted Pine and get those tickets today folks!
