I’ll be honest, “bigger” festivals aren’t necessarily my thing. Perhaps its because I’m a shorter dude and jumping up to see the stage from a sea of people isn’t my thing. Or my general anxiety for being in places with hundreds or thousands of other people. I’d simply rather take in music in a slightly more intimate setting but the announcement by Boston Calling may just sway my feelings otherwise for the end of May.
Earlier today they announced that the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers will be at the top of the heap for the 2020 Memorial Day weekend line up.
Considering either of those band’s are likely wrangling 3 figure numbers for their tickets, the $239 price tag for a 3 day GA pass doesn’t seem quite so hefty. A limited amount of 3 day presale passes will be available tomorrow at 10am ET so head to www.bostoncalling.com
Keep an eye out for future announcements in January, in the meanwhile I’ll be sitting here watching the “Big Me” video and running through an apocalyptic superimposed background shirtless for the next month and a half.
