Show You Should Know: The Brother Brothers at Billsville House Concerts 8/3
magic (ma-jik) : adj : giving a feeling of enchantment
House concerts, an intimate listening experience where audience and entertainer seemingly blend together. It’s, in my opinion, the best way to take in the kind of music that I typically have so much love and respect for. And the folks at Billsville know how to do it right.
The Brother Brothers, a sibling duo that weaves absolutely spellbinding vocal harmonies with brilliantly arranged strings and sonic landscapes meant to captivate and enchant. These two are the “knees weak” kind of beauty that I live for in a live music experience.
Green Mountain Bluegrass & Roots…honestly, the best weekend of my year. The MOST magical festival experience out there, where again, audience and artist blend together. Love and respect for the music is everywhere and you are lifted to a different plain over the course of 4 days.
All these three things are colliding together in jubilee just one week down in Southern Vermont as a special kick off to GMBR of sorts as the Bro Bros couldn’t make the festival weekend due to scheduling. Get out and see them in this incredibly special and intimate setting. Jobi Riccio kicks things off and if you don’t yet know her, check out this article to read up on how much we dig her sound.
