Get your laptops/phones/tablets out folks and start refreshing your screens because Billy Strings and the boys are heading back out on the road…although they are already full tilt on the road for what seems like forever.
The 4 piece alt-grass (not sure that term is widely used, but the band is in a league of their own, so lets go with that) announced this week the release of their forthcoming record “Home” on Rounder Records set for release on September 27th.
Since the release of Strings’ debut full length the band has only further perpetuated the fact that they are one of the most exciting and dynamic bands in the industry today. Additions of electric guitars at times and the fury that all 4 of them are able to unleash on their audiences, well its uncanny.
The snippet we get with this release announcement has soaring electric guitar lines and a depth and landscape of sonic seas that not only shows the development, maturation and evolution of the band’s sound, but their innate ability to excel with whatever they chose to dive into.
