Wildwood Revival Packs a Punch with Initial Line Up announcement

We recently ran an article on 5 New England based festivals you need to get to this year and while we realize that probably 85% of people who read this publication are either based in or have some strong connection to the Northeast, if you can swing it you really need to get down South to Georgia this September.

Year after year after year Wildwood Revival has seemed to outdo itself when it comes to their extremely well curated line up. Sister-brother festival production team Libby Rose and Jesse Collier have created an atmosphere where art and artists thrive and the line between performers and fans, well it doesn’t really exist.

Its not fair for me to take a stab at what this experience is as I am yet to experience it for myself, but judging on the friends we have that go year after year have to say, its one of the best events of the year, every year. When I spoke with Libby a few years back about the fest she said very simply, “It’s all of the good stuff you love about music festivals and none of the stuff you don’t.” And if that ain’t a tagline and a reason to get to this thing, I am not sure what is.

7 artists announced with many more to come and already the line up at such a hand crafted, well curated event is beyond comprehension. Lucinda Williams in a barn outside of Athens, Georgia with a tiny crowd of your best friends you don’t even know yet…come on!

So, get your plane tickets and keep hitting refresh until tickets hit on Wednesday at 10 AM…
