Pickathon Announces Jam Packed 2019 Line up

To me, Pickathon has been a sort of mythical event that occurs across the country from me and I constantly tell myself “next year. I’m going to go next year.” Sadly, this year isn’t that year for me but after the announcement they rolled out late Sunday evening, damn if I wish it was my year. To top it all off they turn legal drinking age this year, so expect a party.

Topping the line up (for me personally) are favorites like Mandolin Orange, Nathaniel Rateliff and Tyler Childers intertwined with festival staples like the Preservation Hall Jazz Band who seem to pop up all over festival grounds they are a part of and some more recent finds in Town Mountain and Courtney Marie Andrews.

Beautiful folk and singer-songwriter tunes next to pumped up jazz rock n’roll and doom metal…all at one festival. Pickathon is the pinnacle when it comes to a diverse musical spectrum. Check out their Spotify playlist and if you can swing it, swing on out to Oregon this August. Tickets are on sale now.
