Peep This: Alec Hutson “Thinkin About”

Alec Hutson‘s voice alone could stop a train in its tracks. There is something just stunning about his range, power and control. Whispy soulful tones and the delicate balance of power with purity, it demands attention the moment he breathes the first word of a song.

Hutson alone with a guitar and a tambourine strapped to a shoeless foot is more than enough to sway and audience into submission, but his latest track does that and much more. Expanding his sound and really putting a fine polish on the arrangements, the video for his latest track “Thinkin About” is both beautiful in its cinematographic style and the captured movements of the dancers, perfectly dovetailing with each inflection of his voice and that very voice that gives life to the dancers in the music video.

I could wax poetic about the evolution of an artist and how Hutson has commanded that with poise and brute force, but I will just leave you with this video. Watch it below and let it impart that power on you…over and over.
