Singled Out: Joe Stamm “Midwest Girl”

From: Metamora, IL
Song: “Midwest Girl”
Latest recording: “Fetch Me” single

Favorite line: “She’s standing in the back, movin’ and singin’ along, every time I play, a Waylon Jennings song”

What About it: This song is the girl I’ve always looked for – she’s the girl who can hang, party and always remain loyal at the end of the night. She’s secure in herself and in her relationships. She doesn’t need me, but she chooses me. She likes really good music, and not just what the radio gives her. She can handle any kind of weather the American Midwest can throw her way, and she’ll party right through it. This song is my ideal woman – a no BS, genuine, Midwest Girl.

Up Next: Releasing a side project June 1st – a duet (single) featuring Nashville based Tasji Bachman, called “First Saw You,” which will be available on all digital music platforms.
