J. Alan Schneider hits with a slow building picking pattern that every so often explodes in John Butler-esque styled waterfalling notes. A soft croon and a succeptibly emotional tone that lets you under his skin for a brief glimpse.
He recently shot this great “Proving Ground Session” at America’s oldest military proving grounds at Fort Hancock in New Jersey which is filmed by Derek Springsteen. You know we are sucker for a good performance in an obscure location and this backdrop complements the mysterious whisper of Schneider’s tunes beautifully. Give this track “Behold” a listen.
