3 Things I Learned This Week Friday Feature

1) October is going to kick ass. This week both  Ron Gallo and Joshua Black Wilkins had shows announced at Atwoods Tavern. Yes, two of my favorite songwriters, good dudes, and fellow Loar guitars players will be at the wonderous club over there in Inman Square. Also part of this could be that Randi Millman is one of hell of a booking agent and awesome gal, but I already knew that.

2) The New England Americana Festival rolled out it’s line-up. Smaller in the amount of acts, but perhaps more grandiose in its staging, operations, and execution it will be much the same as the last two years with free daytime shows and paid nighttime opening and closing shows at Club Passim. More on that to come.

3) I will be unofficially teaming up with one of my favorite people in the world both from a business related stand point and more officially in a recording stand point for my next record. We talked that over this week, but much much more is to come on that…I am so damn excited.
