“Locals Covering Locals” Album Release Show: July 5th, Club Passim

I am very proud to announce that the “Local Covering Locals” CD release show tickets have officially gone on sale. More information below and to come, but I will say this…we are printing a very limited public quantity of these albums. The cover artwork was done by the incredibly talented artist and songwriter Dan Blakeslee. You definitely want one of these albums. The album will be FREE. That’s right, FREE, but the only way for you to get your hands on one is to come to this release show. All of the audience members will get a free copy of the record. So take home a piece of (what I hope becomes) a little bit of Red Line Roots and our music community’s history and enjoy a wonderful night of music at Club Passim.

Red Line Roots FINAL BW PDFOn July 5th, a handful of the Locals Covering Locals contributing musicians will descend on Passim to pay tribute to their friends who’s music they are inspired by and also to play some of their own music. Showtime is at 7:00 PM.

Many of the 11 artists who played on this record will be in attendance that evening. With sets that will be bit quite a bit longer than just the song that they covered for the project, you can surely expect some surprises and a wonderful evening of music. This I can promise you. I anticipate many collaborations and some truly special moments.

Keep an eye on the blog for the roll out of artists playing this evening over the next few weeks. I look forward to bringing this show to all the fine folks still around for the holiday weekend. Bring your friends, bring your family and share in a truly special evening of music celebrating our rich music community.
