Given the rise in popularity of the Folk, Rock, Bluegrass, and Americana genres in Boston and the surrounding Northeast, it only made sense that someone needed to write about it…so why not us? After all, we are not only huge fans, but musicians ourselves.

For the past 11 years we have done our best to spotlight not only the artists blowing up on a national level, but most importantly, emerging and independent artists.

Red Line Roots is focused on artists with connections to the communities we call home—namely, New England and North Carolina.
